I imagine this is a very common problem. I've pretty much got the technique down for the aerial and my friend said it looks very floaty and cool but I just keep putting one hand down at the very last second, even though I don't need to and I don't feel any pressure on my hand at all! It's like I'm scared but I'm not! Any tips or tricks on how to get past this? I don't have a video btw... :(

just say fuck it to yourself one time and focus on the hand not going to the ground...
if that doesn't work, try putting your hand down later in the move itself... so eventually you already landed the aerial, then after the landing putting your hand down... then your brain starts noticing the stupidity of that action hahaha, so then you won't put it down anymore... LOL

hmm it would help if you had a vid
but you really need to pull around with your arms as hard as you can, also most people when they're trying aerials don't push off with their leg when they're taking off, they sort of just step into it, so make sure you're really pushing off

and like leonardo said just do it, focus on the hand NOT going on the ground, if you think you don't need it but you're using it then that's just stupid, don't use it, haha

Leonardo has given good advice. This is pretty much all you can do. I will add, though:
Try to bring your chest up as you land. If your aerial really is floaty, you wont be able to put your hand down.

just jump away from the ground and pull your foot under you.

this is exactly what i was gonna say, really push off the floor with ur take off leg and you shouldnt come close to putting your hand down

if you already do this and it is just down to bad habits you should concentrate on delaying putting ur hand down

but dont rush them, you may not think that your hand is helping you land it but it could be, that split second of ur hand touching the ground helps so much
