Aah when i woke up yesterday i felt stinging pain in my left shoulder when i lifted my left arm up.I was thinking that "what the fuck well maybe i have just slept in a bad position" and i went to my athletics trainings. Then i noticed that pain was too bad and i just did some running and ab workout and left home. Pain is still that stinging if i raise my arm up or if i move it sideways pretty high. Any idea what could it be?A day before that painfull morning i had had wrestling trainings but i think nothing that could be behind this didn't happen there.:dead:

What part of your shoulder? Rotator cuff? Delts? Around your shoulder blade/traps? The shoulder is the one joint in your body with the greatest mobility, so there are many different ways you could injure it.

Hold your hands straight by your sides, now imagine doing a lateral dumbbell raise (keeping arms straight and lifting your arms to the roof). How painful was that? Was it right on top of the shoulder, sort of underneath the deltoid?

If so it may be a shoulder impingement. Either way you should RICE it and get it checked out.

Well when i rise my hands the biggest pain is when the arms are on the shoulder high. When arms are up pointing to the roof there is not much pain. And then when they're just down there is no pain. And yes pain is right on top of the shoulder, i guess i just have to go to doctor because pain is pretty big when i move my hand up or sideways

sounds like an inpingement syndrome, though it's strange that it just came out of the blue, if you havn't had any problems before?
Anyway, deffinately get it checked out because this can really mess you up for a long time. I would know.

luckily there was not anything really messed up in my shoulder. I just have to give it rest about a week.:good: Thats what the doctor said

If it flares up again, which it is likely to do so, go to a physiotherapist rather than a doctor.

I got that ones myself. Gave it a day or two, then everything was back to normal. Happened when my shoulder cracked ones.
