http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kC4AKYCiUNc
I ought to kick the back leg up higher. But if you like you can tell me to kick it up even higher.
Any advice at all, no matter how silly (as long as it will help) is apreciated :D
Thanks guys
learn to have a high floaty b kick, then twist in it
Yes, floaty bkicks are the bread and butter of a good btwist, and a floaty bkick is all in the setup. You mentioned that you think you should throw your back leg harder, which you really should.
You can obviously spin fast enough to do this move, I'd say focus on powering into the other parts of the move as well now. Really rip yourself up agressively out of your dip, push away from the ground up into the sky with your leading leg and make sure you pull your back leg up hard and continue to pull it. I think that back leg coming up hard will make a huge improvement.
On a side note: Sonic Syndicate, I approve of this choice:good:!!
Right, I'll focus even more on my b-kick and even even more on lifting the back leg and adding more power as I get more controll...
B-twist has really been (and still is) a pain in my ass >.< Well, I'll keep working on it.
And yes, Sonic Syndicate is good :P
I remember on the main site under btwist section there was a vid of Logan giving tips to Jan and that was very useful when i was learning btwists, tho its not up there anymore, anyone got it saved anywhere?

actually, your real problem is that you aren't getting any flatspin. when you dip, go all the way to the left, so your upper body is facing to the left of the setup direction when you set off! try to kick your leg up like you would in a round kick, that helped me loads with getting flatspin in my btwist!
