Everyone had stopped fighting, and they were all looking at my lithe body on the ground, 15 feet away from a cackling Voldemort. For them, it was like watching a car crash. They could not tear their eyes away. And it pissed him off. They did not have the right to stare at my body. He never liked people staring too long at me. I belonged only to Draco. And Draco did not share. He wanted them to stop staring at me… He wanted the pain in his chest to stop…

But most of all, he wanted that creepy, evil cackling to stop. And he remembers pointing his wand at the ugly and pale thing that was my murderer, and said those two Unforgivable words, and the serpent-like thing screamed in agony. And everyone stopped looking at me.

Then he remembers the way his legs moved towards my body, as if they had their own minds.

He remembers looking down on what used to be me. But it was not me anymore. It was just someone looking like me, but at the same time did not look like me.

He remembers the way my eyes always mirrored my mood and feelings, how they glowed with happiness when I was with my friends or with him, how they shone with sadness and tears when I cried, or beamed with joy when I was flying. He remembers how I always was so full of life, even when I slept; he said that to me once! I do not know how that is possible though… But now I was completely lifeless. He did not want to say I was dead, just… gone. I had not died. I had just left him… For a very long while.

He remembers when he looked into my eyes, and only saw a pair of empty emerald eyes that would never belong to his Harry.

He remembers the lone tear that slowly made its path down his left cheek as he whispered into my body's deaf ears a word he would hate forever; “Goodbye”.

Then he remembers turning around and leaving his Harry behind him.

… At least, that was what he thought he did…

Because all this he remembers every night while pounding into some random, black-haired guy, moaning and screaming out my name along with ‘I love you’ and ‘I hate you’. All the while, trying to forget me.

maple syrup and honey are better to use as sweeteners than sugar and well . . . sweetener, because they both contain natural antioxidants and tend to fuck up natural insulin balance less. they should only really be taken in your post workout meal though as they still contain lots of sugar.

p.s. raw honey is better than processed honey as it has higher quantities of beneficial nutrients and enzymes. Honey has even been proven in studies to improve glucose metabolism (how you process carbs).

I would think a lot of syrups out there are high fructose. I have heard you can get diabetes from fructose, but it is more mysterious than how you get it from glucose.
Fructose glycates and screws you up alot more apparantly, as does galactose (the semi-broken down form of lactose). Advanced glycation end products seem to have some serious consequences for diabetics.
