View Full Version : Cork Setups
Hello I have been doing pivot step or reverse corks and there have been problems recently.... i am not sure what it is but any who. i want to learn or move from pivot steps, to j steps etc i know there are some similarities but i have tried them before. but then its awlays hard for me to understand the movements so how can i do that... shoudl i just give it a go and try to j step or work on things before that?
yea i have been able to do corks before but i have been having a bunch of problems etc! so i will possibly get some videos up but any ideas would help alot thanks a bunch!

I dont know the hell you are talking about the euro step etc but well for some reason i cannot do j step corks but am able to do pivot step corks so i just wanted to know due to strength and double issues j steps can gain more momentum so i wanted to work on those! so thats all im asking is how do i transition from one set up to the other.

the foxtrot is really the only setup that is suited to the cork :good:

try getting a solid slant gainer/ gainer flash from your jstep to make sure that you can cork out of that setup
Thanks thats probably some of the most solid advice i have got since asking this question. other than scoots everything seems to be a joke but i do wish to learn this. when i scoot -cork i seem to spin quickly but get no height.. something im gunan work on eventually

Use j-step. First start off using this kind of set-up and then after time it will become fluent and you can adjust it to your liking.
