ha ha i'm only fucking about, but in all fairness those gym balls screwed with my twists so i wold suggest just getting a solid take off onto sand then start to train them
also try and spot you landing, when you can do that then you should land them easily

yea i know man but its just hard to spot your landing when you are twisting 720 degrees without control hehe, i guess it's just training that improves it, no somekind of secret except for technique comments..

Unfortunately as you said there is no cheat code for tricking :(

I myself suck at single btwist so ignore my advice if you want to.

Training them on solid ground (grass, sand, whatever) is probably best (crashmats/foampit if you have access)

Also control as you say come with practice so just focus on technique and try over and over. After each try ask yourself "What went wrong?" and just as important "what went right?" And then fix the wrongs and keep the rights.

Also if you have a camera, (which I suppose you do seen as you filmed yourself) film your attempts and watch them at the spot. If your camera has a frame-by-frame play function then use it to see where things go wrong.

That's the best advice I can give you :P Keep it up and don't give up!

And remember.. When failing, change something. Don't just go for the same thing over and over again if you fail.

i dont want to be rash, but i'll put it simple.

if your btwists suck, your dubtwists will suck.

using a ball really wont help us help you. since your technique is altered using a ball, we cant tell you, oh check this and this.

now if you try a dubtwist on regular ground ie grass gym etc. we can say, "yo, work on this"

and lastly, i dont think you're ready for dubtwists. just drill your btwists so you can get them really high and comfortable and that will mean you're one step closer to dubtwist.

sorry for being so critical, but i hope you take this and get better. :D keep tricking! :good:!

Good poast.

There has been an influx of double btwists being posted. Most of them have a root problem; their btwists suck, they don't have great hyper twists or hooks or even bkicks.

Some tricks have prereqs that aren't "necessary", but with double btwist a mastery of the btwist is very much needed.

Also, most of these attempts are just fast spins right off the ground; no air whatsoever. Use your arms, throw the leg up with the chest, JUMPPPPPP.

btwists and hypertwists

:good:

hyperhooks too.

To reference Dave C's tutorial, if you can do a hypertwist and have your leg fully chambered and able to throw a high hook kick before you land, you can easily throw another rotation in there instead of a kick. Just keep going.

Trying it with the ball is like when people try to do all these whacky things to land their first backflips. You just have to try it. Plus it's just fun to throw yourself around. I crash double btwists on to mats at my karate school all the time.

i beg to differ.
