In the grand scheme of things, anything that you can benefit from running can also be obtained via other methods.

running really helps me keep my stamina up and i see the difference big time wen i combo.

especially if i am putting higher level difficulty tricks into the combo, i land them consistently and execute them stronger.

its sux but its worth it

I know I preach it, but HIIT is easily the most effective form of running for improving your endurance and stamina and engaging your fast twitch fibers, which will improve your ability to combo immensely.

If you want to do any running, just go with HIIT. Fuck running, fuck treadmills, fuck thirty minute cardio.

I am pretty sure that sprinting and jogging are considered two forms of running... sprinting being the all-out higher speed with total focus on going forward and jogging being more of a controlled bouncy up/down kinda thing.

Running seems more along the lines of bipedal motion that's not walking, as in 0-1 limbs touching at a time compared to 1-2.
