Hey guys! Whenever I do a 540 I really lie back alot. How do I stay more upright?

just don't lean back as you do your 540, keep your cest up during your cheat setup
hmmmm... assuming that your spotting a target while you kick, maybe you could try spotting something lower to the ground. That way, you will have to stay more upright if you want to be able to see what your kicking towards.
im not sure if that will help, but it couldn't hurt to try. and EmpRitz has a point with the setup as well, dont lean back to much during the setup and you'll probably lean less during the kick.
when you cheat set up instead of throwing your arms side too side, throw them upwards. a vid would also be nice too see.

Practice getting your tornado kicks full or close to full upright, and spot a target not above eye level.

spot a target,try to see your leg when you do the 540 kick,and you can also drill cheat 720's,will help you to stay upright

go back to working on tornado kicks and really lifting your shoulders and jumping hard. working with these at full power and speed will eventually evolve into decent upright 540s as long as you're jumping and your kick is quickly encompassing the full range of motion.

When you takeoff, turn your entire body to the target, if not on past the target. Don't just look at the target, spin your body so your face and your hips are facing the target as you leave the ground.
Before I used to face the target upon taking off but my hips would stay back about 540 degrees off the target, this caused them to go very high up, which is goood if you want that to happen, but if you want to stay upright, you need to move your hips in sync with your head.
