okay so i can walk perfectly fine, trick perfectly fine and such. but when i stretch my ankle sometimes(the heel faces the inside of my right foot) it feels like its going to pop but never does. every once in a while i get small spasm like episodes but never severe.
havent seen the doctor because i dont have insurance.
i keep stretching and doing ankle strengthening excercises but im not really sure how to go about the situation. im not asking for a diagnoses, but rather wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing on this forum:)

Have you injured your ankle in the past (sprains, fractures, etc.) ?

I say try to do it till it pops, but not to a breaking point. I.e. put more pressure on, but not enough to hurt yourself.
I have that in my elbow after a lot of tricking sessions, I just super-compress it, till its near breaking (so it feels like) and it pops.

nope no injuries before. the thing that worries me is if it is a minor injury that can become a much larger one. buuut apparently there isnt much i can do without a dr per say. thanks all

For me personally it isn't. I've had a doctor check me, my bones absorb a load more calcium then most peoples. Thats why when i got hit by a car i was able to trick a week later, even though it was going 30/35 miles an hour.
And it isn't a bad idea for most people, as long as you don't over-do the pressure you give, it will pop, and itll feel a lot better and looser.

We are all snow flakes - what works for you doesn't always work for someone else .
You [like me] are a teenager , of course your body are gonna be absorbing mad amounts of calcium and other stuffs :flesh:
Your car accident story really has nothing to do with this , there are many factors that could have been involved [you might have just been lucky] , and based on your skill level [which I'm not insulting] - you probably weren't tricking at a very [physical] demanding level
To me , it's a stupid idea . Now go learn a backtuck :good:

I take no offence don't worry :).
For the first week I was doing front tucks and side tucks (landing on my bad knee which got hit by a car first for sides) front half spins, a lot of kicks (just no 540's as i doubted my knee could take it) and other stuff.
For some people its not physically demanding, but two hours of it winded me.

What do you mean by 'ankle faces the inside of my right foot'? Is it just your right ankle that hurts? When you say faces the inside, do you mean like the ankle it gets when you're standing in horse stances? Inversion?
