When your kicking foot passes the ground, is it better if it passes close to your take-off foot while your whole body is at a slanted angle to the ground, like this:

(leftleg)(rightleg)

\\

or away from your take-off foot, with your body/takeoff leg in a straight vertical line upright, like this:

(leftleg)(rightleg)

Thanks!

It's a matter of opinion really.

Choose the one that feels better to you.

The first one generally works better, you want to be leaning that way you know your blocking and going up, if your bodys in a vertical alignment, then it's likely alot of your momentum won't be sent up, do it the first way but don't worry too much either way because there's way more important aspects of a cork.

honestly i dont even think you will notice when you do your setup. just know that the block, and the lift to whatever jstep move you are trying to do is generally most important.
