recently, ive been eating like crap. I dont get hungry until an hour or two after i wake up, and from there its unknown when i will eat my next meal. today i ate a bowl of soup two hours after i woke up, and didn't eat anything for 6 hours.
anyone share similar stories?

I am the same way. Yesterday I had my second meal at 3pm (my first at 7am). I find that watching tv helps me completely ignore the massive amounts of food I shovel down my gullet.

This is basically me on a day to day basis except for those times when I'm focused on a bulk phase. Considering that's not a consistent thing with me I'm in the midst of such a scenario. Somehow I'm eating enough to generally maintain weight but over a lengthy period of time I do end up losing weight. I find it easy to not go hungry once I'm settled into a pattern. If I enter a bulking phase then suddenly cut down drastically afterwards I find myself growling for food more than I would otherwise.

Smoke a bit of pot, problem solved. (evidently before workout wouldn't be optimal)

If the only exercise you do is like 1-2 hrs of resistance training in the afternoon, then it's unlikely you'll get that hungry after breakfast. If you walk around, do some errands, ride your bike somewhere, you'll definately have an appetite. Right now I'm on study break, so I've mostly been at home and the only exercise is weights - so my appetite/motivation to make a proper meal is quite poor. Just need to break the sedentary lifestyle.

im pretty happy. maybe bored because there is nothing going on in florida. its been raining on and off, and because of the hot weather, its mad humid. im going to start doing some HIIT to burn some fat. I smoked a bit, and i ended up eating like 10 pieces of chicken nuggets from mc donalds, 4 pieces of chicken, lots of rice, and plenty of fluids. i think i just need more sleep and some exercise

Try eating meals at the same time every day. Get into a schedule even if you're not that hungry because then your body will expect it and in turn be hungry for it. Maybe?

Maybe it's the heat. It's killing me right now that summer kicked in.

Indeed. Eat based off of routine instead of hunger. If you get hungry, then eat some more.

I went through a serotonin withdrawal for a few months not too long ago from switching medications, and during those months, I would go nearly 9-10 hours at a time without eating anything at all and never noticing it. Some days, I would wake up around eight, and I wouldn't eat until five or six that evening.
You could be going through a bit of a serotonin imbalance. Have you been feeling depressed or apathetic lately?

Only if you are constantly in your mind. I watched some speech on TED, and there was some lady talking about happiness. Apparently, a characteristic of depressed people is that they spend much of their time alone. Their whole reality revolves around their (ego) self, and this even shows in their writing with excessive use of "I" and "me."
I know you've probably heard this before, but you should pick up a hobby or join a group or organization, so you can have things to do with your time. Go for walks and drag your friends along, talk to random people or explore places. More spare time has a strong correlation to unhappiness. This is the only life you have, so don't waste it being bored.

Less Than Dan - You described amost to the T how my days have been going. I get up 9-11am and probably wont eat till after 7-8 most days. And I'm definately bored, comin home from my own place and school back to a dead ass city is terrible.
Butthash, lol its funny I was just thinkin the other day "MAN I wanna get back down to miami soon this place is so boring!" But everywhere is boring without people to interact with. This summer has been pretty blaaah, no jobs, no people.

well on the 22nd im starting at my local college for some classes to get out of the way ( im in highschool and im doing duel enrollment) and if it ever stops thundering, me and my amigos are heading for the pool to prepare for swim season at school. you're right about getting out though, although i should be meeting more people. im trying to become a lot more social, since it is my senior year and i want to meet new people. blah blah blah

On the bright side, at least depression doesn't give you an appetite.

yea, I cbfa to eat any more. I apparently used to eat ~1800cals/day before I started "bodybuilding" about 6 or 7 years ago. Then I go into eating a lot more, then for years it was really hard to eat less than 3000cals, and for long periods of time I ate around 5000cals/day.
Then I just... well, I cbfa. Oats and milk some time when I bother to go downstairs after I wake up, and then maybe another meal 10 hours later, if I get around to cooking (not often any more). I recommend it, it's good for being shit.
And I work out like once a week, if I'm lucky. It's a slippery slope.

Andy says (00:42):
like some 14 yr old
i was sick at a friends house
it was fucking awful
Andy says (00:43):
i for some reason puked the most awful stuff ever into his washbasin instead of the toilet
it was full of undigested whole noodles
leading me to question how on earth i didn't chew any of it correctly
it just looked like someone had emptied a tub of ready made noodles and tomato into the sink
Andy says (00:44):
so i ended up scooping out all the noodles and remains in the basin out with my hands and throwing it into the toilet
