I have gone through every aerial help and tutorial on this site and others, and still can not get the aerial. i can do one hand ones perfect with lots of strength in them. but as soon as i try it without hands i totally mess up. a few days ago i landed a very bad aerial (well at least i got it) the next day i lost the technique. I drill them every day time and time again.I am very frustrated,:worry: any advice will help, thank you.

Well make sure to use your torso, and DON'T swing up your bakc leg too early. Wait till your torso has flung around, then swing up the back leg and jump, then pull it over.

A video would be very very very helpful.

Best advice i can give you is to try and keep your chin up its funny but it really works and you get a fair bit of height also try and get your first leg(left leg if your kicking over with your right foot) as far forwards as you can, if it makes ne sense it shud help lol. good luck.

Your one handed cartwheel can't be perfect if you need your hand, you have to see room for improvement before you improve. The goal is to put as little weight on your arm as possible - not necessarily to use as much strength as possible. Try using your off hand (right if you throw up your right leg first) on the ground and throw the first arm back so that it travels up, giving you lift. You really don't have to throw it that hard, you just have to time it with your jump and throw your first leg as far over as you can before you jump.

Rotate your hips in the air and reach for the ground with the first leg, pointing your toe in the direction you're coming from. Pull that leg towards your chest. You're frustrated because you keep trying the same thing expecting a different outcome. You have to experiment.

Just look at Juji's tutorial. Don't just listen to what he says, watch him as well. Throw your back leg up hard, throw your arm hard, jump, land a pretty aerial.

You don't need a better video. The problem you're having is not doing what you have already seen. You have to note the salient points while keeping the basic idea in mind. Throw your legs so that they carry themselves over fluidly without you needing to stall on your hands, and dip down with your upper body but hold it up, throwing the first arm back will help keep you up. Once your first leg is in the air you switch your legs and land.

Go land an aerial.
