Plyo floor outside on grass

I just got my hands on a 16foot^2 plyo floor that I am able to huck into the back of a pick up truck and take wherever I please.

Do you think it's alright to just put it out on grass, or should I buy a layer of plywood to put underneath, or is there a simpler way.

This floor will be put at the beach at Vancouver's Cloud City Gathering.

It's the average plyometric flooring system that north american gyms usually have. instead of roll top carpet mats, I will be using those good old fold up vinyl mats.

And yes, it's the old aviva floor, B-Roll. The new one is very slippery, but the first session on it was tonight. Tricksters crimsoned it with many a double combo.
