looks like bad rupturing of the blood vessels, bruising. How did it happen?
might want to get it checked out.
I don't remember as it's a while ago. I just noticed it one day, doesn't hurt and it's never swollen or anything.. Just different skin-colour really.. Friend of mine told me strech marks, but idk.. I think I've seen a pic of it ages ago and this didn't remind me of it.

looks like stretch marks to me. I had/have them all over my hips, theyve faded completely now though. I can see them if i stretch out the skin (blanching the skin around them, but since the stretch marks dont have the same blood flow, they dont pale with the skin) but basically you cant see them
If those are stretch makes, it's quite severe. Get it checked out by a doctor.

oh man now i am scared. i have the same thing on my hips, but it's not red though. Also i have some in my arms. I'm a mess. They are also actually lighter than my regular skin. I heard this can be due to lifting weights but i mean i ahven't been lifting, instead i have been losing weight doing reaction cycling. i hope there is a way to get around this. plz help

So what was it? I guess I'm lucky, I've only got stretch marks on the side of my butt.

but see i love to do more and more when i workout and do training. anyways i heard also applying baby oil on the stretch marks will help them dissappear. I have been researching this for the past week because well i am 18 right now and i have had them since i turned 17 and that's why i stopped working out and then i got so fat and now i lost most of it that i now weigh 175lbs. i do think the weight loss made this problem even bigger. I also have them on my lower back and on my ass. People have said they eventually dissappear but it hasn't and i want to do something about this. I am getting a physical soon, so i hope that is the best way to get the most info on this. If any of you have any info you'd like to deliver plz do so. It will be very much appreacited. thx
No man, stretch marks rarely disappear. I've had stretch marks on my left anterior deltoid/chest for years... They still havent gone away. Get it checked out, and as long its nothing serious, or if it is stretch marks, wear them with pride - You earned them.

Aren't there some creams you can apply to them?
I have no idea if they work or not but I think I've heard of them.

You can use the stretch mark cream that pregnant woman use. Cocoanut oil or something along those lines I think it is. It's not really effective though. The biggest factor in getting stretch marks is your genetics. Good hydration can help minimize the severity of a stretch mark that you may get, but it probably won't make much of a difference.
They never disappear, they just sort of fade away. I can take a picture of my glutes to prove this, haha...It's hardly noticeable. You'd really have to look at it to tell. But you can certainly feel them.
Unless you're a really sexy girl, please refrain from posting your ass on here.
SVP.

man it sounds as if you guys are telling me that surgery is the best way to go. seriously i don't think they even look as if they have faded at all. i am getting scared and i don't want these to stay. not that i am becoming a model or anything but i mean seriosuly when i do workout stuff and even my acrobatic training it just bothers me to know that i have that. i don't wear whitebeater anymore when i workout. i wear either t-shirts and even long sleeves.

What are you trying to say Drex? You don't like my big black ghetto booty?

Seriously though, stop worrying about stretch marks. Look at my gaymax picture here. There's one new stretch mark, and the rest are faded. If you're that worried, tan a little. But that's about how much you can expect them to fade.

i don't know i thought that's what most in here were all trying to hint. i hope that they do fade away and also i have to not think about this while i am training b/c it really decreases my self-motivation in not doing more tricking and other types of training.

You think girls really care about that stuff? And how can stretch marks decrease motivation? Are you not motivated enough when you set new PR's, or make increases in strength and size? You're complaining more than a pregnant woman about them.

yeah your right. I should still pursue with this goal regarless of these stretch marks. i will admit it's also school and stuff. Also around my area i can't seem to find a place where i can attend and train train train everyday and ANY time. i am from CT and Bridgeport city from where i am from not many participate to this type of stuff b/c to them it's risking your life. i recently am taking summer classes and i can't attend capoeira and i was just getting started. right now a lot of things are going on and i do feel like i am not making the most out of it when it comes to my training.
By the way, vitamin E/aloe is the cream you were thinking about. It reduces redness somewhat but I doubt the mark will ever be gone.
