"Gyro" indicates a upright spin, so if you did a doubleleg then became fully upright and did a 360 spin, it would be a Doubleleg gyro, on the other hand when the rotation is at anything above upright, it could be considered a Doubleleg twist...

Doubleleg Gyro at :23 (not fully upright, but the best example I could find)

And depending on how much spin precedes the "Doubleleg" position it could be a variety of things, BS720 Doubleleg and P720 Doubleleg being the most common...If the spin preceding the Doubleleg position is inverted it is known as a fulltwist doubleleg, and essentially theres a ton of tricks you can "Doubleleg" out of which would add the term to the name (ex. Cork Doubleleg, Btwist Doubleleg etc.)

If you're asking that what is a Doubleleg Twist where you twist first, and then "doubleleg", then the answer is: Pop 540 Twist Doubleleg

But if you do a Doubleleg Twist and change the place of the twist and a "doubleleg", the setup doesn't change; Doubleleg Twist is always done from a "pop" setup.

So a snapuswipe would not be considered a sideswipe gyro because it is not upright?
if kenji was asking if dleg gyro and dleg twist were the same move i wasnt sure if he was gonna be taking great notice of the take off cos i could be C720 dleg as well

Pop Cali Roll, but I think it was intended to be a double leg double twist.

Yeah "sideswipe gyro" is a technically incorrect description since in a snapuswipe the performer is supposed to be horizontal for the twist. This move should be described as "sideswipe twist," since there is currently no known trick which has a twist-during-swipe action.
About doublelegs and twists:
Doubleleg exists on its own as a trick, and also as a variation of the action of 'hyper round' which can be applied as a tag to any horizontal or vertical tricks.
In application on the horizontal axis, anything that has time for a doubleleg can have one included:
Btwist + doubleleg = "twist doubleleg"
cork + doubleleg = "cork doubleleg"
Pop twist (of various sorts) + doubleleg = "pop twist doubleleg" (of various sorts)
That means they can be before the twist also, or any combination thereof. Swipes and singlelegs carry these same attributes.

I always thought of if like if you twist when your chest is still facing up it would be a dleg twist....but if your chest starts to face where you came from and your hips are turned over before you twist it would be a gyro....manny brown has dleg gyros.
....if that makes any sense haha
Oh and I remember Gary Ip doing a pop7dleg varation back in the day haha...idk where the video of it is tho.

No one is haha....just trying to come to an agreement in technique differences.
A slight diffrence but I think when people dleg gyro the dleg stands out more and it looks prettier haha.
I wanna learn these now haha
