hey

I have this injury right now, and I really don't know what to do about it, so I hope someone here can help me out.

basically it's my sacroiliac joint (lower back on the right side) that keeps me from tricking, because it hurts.

I've built up this injury probably by having a weak lower back and just tricking, training corks a lot. I remember feeling pain when I land in a swingtru way (like a td raiz, a btwist landed on one leg with your trailing leg behind, cork s/t, etc.)
The injury is not on the surface of my back, but rather deep, which makes it hard to point out which motion makes it hurt.

Been to 2 fysiotherapists, the last one told me the muscles around the joint need to loosen up, because they've tensed up to protect the joint itself from being raped by my tricking.

the problem is, I've got this injury for a serious while now, and it's been like 2 months in which I haven't tricked, but it's not really getting any better with me just resting and stretching and doing some simple exercises the therapists gave me (which I don't really feel either).

So does anyone know more about this particular injury, or have any ideas about what to do about it?

Thanks!

And you've been back to the physiotherapists, telling them that the exercises did not work?

I suspect not. Go back and tell them that it's doing jack shit, take it from there. Noone here is qualified to answer your questions that will be beneficial and not potentially harmful.

And go over the stretches again, finding out where you're meant to feel them and what to do to properly stretch the area.

I've been back once, and I'll go again I guess.
The fact that all the therapy hasn't really helped so far makes me lose faith in it however...

I was hoping someone else had had this injury (seeing how it's trick-related) and had some good advice or exercises specifically for this injury

It sounds similiar to something I've had in 04/05. But in my case I couldn't turn my torso to the painful side because it hurt like crazy, so it's probably different. I had this injury for 6 months by the way, and I felt that visiting a chiropractor was the most beneficial for me haha (pysiotherapist helped slightly, but not much). With a few ''sessions'' he almost completely relieved me from the pain that was build in deep.

I've always had a weaker lower back since then though. Hyperextensions have helped me always, together with correct form conventional deadlifts (not going too heavy). But definitely hyperextensions, that exercise is a back-saver for me.
