Hey guys, i'm markus and im happy to meet you all :D. I used to be able to do frontflips but the weather turned bad so i just quit. Now im back into flipping, landed my frontflip on grass again 1 week ago. Did my first backflip on trampoline yesterday with no help (got rid of fear woot), also did a sideflip on grass. So im getting alright in a good amount of time. But what i have to ask is what are the recommended tutorials to learn tricks easiest, which tricks should i learn in order etc. But the MAIN thing i want to ask is that how do i help my shin splints? i never had them before when i flipped now i have sore shins, its like a little bruise. Should i just flip on trampolines now to let them heal? not on grass or anything? Thanks very much guys, please reply!

Hi marcus
first thing to note is that this is a tricking forum not a freerunning forum

The root page of trickstutorials.com contains a list of tutorials.

For more tutorials try here:

For a list of tricks to do look here:

I recommend trying a 540 kick or a bkick first.

Treatment for shin splints often includes massage and rest. Remember it is a muscular injury, not bone.

For shin splints-rest and ice. Take some time off, a week and ice them several times a day for 15 mins then go back to tricking icing after each session

Actually, shin splints is (in general) technically neither a muscle injury nor a bone injury. It's usually inflammation of the sheath surrounding the tibial bone. Of course, people use the term shin splints for any sort of pain in the shin. Sometimes just acute muscle soreness is the cause of "shin splints", but that will subside after a day or two. If it continues, it's most likely "real" shin splints. If it's localized in a very small specific location, it could even be a stress fracture. However, if it's pain generally throughout the shins it's most likely what I referred to at the beginning.
Stop tricking / running / free running / any high impact activity until a margin of time after the pain has totally subsided.
