I challenge Akaii to a battle!
Rules: 3 kicks, 2 flips, one twist, and 4 combos.

You said to post in the "Share your Vids" but i thought it would be more appropriate here.
Here is my footage. i didn't bother with slow motion. I don't think anyone really cares. If anyone wants one, i'll upload the same video in slow motion. lol hope you like it.

it's the best i could do right now. i probably should have done standing full for the twist, but i assumed you would, and whatever... lol i was also gonna use cart front, but i thought you'd get pissy. haha

I'm actually really excited for this battle. The water vs. fire motif really brings about an interesting rivalry.
However, Pokemon red and blue comes to mind. CHARIZARD VS. BLASTOISE?! BLASTOISE WILL SURELY WIN.

I have always found this fire vs water thing a bit weird, since if we're talking about fire as oxidation then surely water will win, but if we talk about fire as in heat then water would be turned to steam.

edit: my vote goes to akaii, because it was pretty even and aoichi didnt wear a wig / paint hair blue.

Naw, it's a sideswipe it's just a really bad one. watch it again, I take off like a raiz, I. E. leg went up vertically and my head wnt strait back, I just didn't kick hard enough so it gave that, layed back 540 look
I never come on TT anymore, but one question to my buddy akaii, WTF!!! how can you jacknife but not C9????? i would much rather have a jacknife than a c9! FRIKEN JELOUS! can we trade plz?
IDK... it's WAY easier for me. I'm working the hell out of backside 9s though. i think my problem is lifting the leg. the only kicks i do with that leg are straight up or round kicks, like tornado and 540. I'll have it soon. and i'll fix my GMS.

it's not that the sideswipe is a hard move...I was running on an hour of sleep and I had been at school and work all week/day, so I was pretty much shit, I can train regularly in august so I will put some more footage up then, that day was literally the first day I got to trick in quite some time besides the open, and the only reason I got to go was cause I just didn't go to work that day ^^;
no it's fine, i understand. that last combo i did... i was SO TIRED. i had that feeling when you run too much and are gonna throw up, and your body is screaming at you to stop. and i was racing against the daylight. I had about 4 sessions making the video, and everyone i could barely walk after. mainly because of my Abductors.

I agree with Breykdown, Aoichi was cleaner and Akaii was more aggresive (I hope it wasn't due to the difference in camera quality that I make this assumption :tongue:). Both videos were great, particularly the combos.
I think Aoichi wins by the smallest of margins.
i think it's a combination. I went for faster, more aggressive tricks, and so most of my kicks i had to somewhat pull to easily transition to the next move. it's just preference i guess. but also, my camera is a regular digital camera, and his is one made for video. a sony, DVD camera.

Kick 1& 2: Aoichi
Kick 3: Akaii
Twist: Akaii because it looked like he landed a tab bit better.
Flip 1: Akaii, but this one was really close call
Flip2: Akaii
Combo 1&3: Aoichi
Combo2&4: Akaii
I would say Akaii 6, Aoichi 4. but it was realllly close

I liked Akaii a tinnyyy bit better just because his transitions in the combos looked a little bit smoother together. just in my opinion

My vote goes to fire. Although his parafusos and corks were SLIGHTLY less clean, his sideswipe/jacknives were superior, and his combos were alot smoother. Water was still very impressive with the standing fulls and stuff, but he seemed too hesitant in his combos. Plus the sideswipe was a 540, and he didnt hop/missleg/whatever properly in the narabong/autobahn.
Either way both these guys trounce me :P
i'd say you guys were pretty even.
the biggest thing that broke it were the combos.
fire, you had smoother transitions; whereas, water stopped a bit.
both you guys were good. i liked it :D good job guys. and hwat David M said, it was a cart s/t gainer. and what meatmachine said, it was a 540.

I enjoyed the footage! I will refer to you as blue and red.
I think blue had better kicks: some cleaner landings (though red's jacknife was better). Both had solid corks, but I like the pivot setup more haha. Next to that I really liked blue's standing full, but the gmswipe was excellent too. So: tie in flips. Blue had some nice combo's though some stuff was a bit unclean. Red's second combo wasn't really a combo haha, the wait between the cork and hook was too long. Hm, let's say that red wins the combo's, but not by much.
In the end blue wins (kicks+twist, red one the combo section, tie in flips) :smile:
