Yeah, I've never seen him do stuff like this, it's awesome. I'm glad to see he's doing pistols properly on his heels now :) His first book kind of scared me a bit because of how he did them like a 1-legged hindu squat (which Matt Furey can't even DO).
If anyone ever inspires me to shave my head, I bet it'll be Ross.

@tyciol is it wrong to do the pistols with going on the toes? I'm asking because I can't them do them with the full foot at the floor ;(
Wow... those single arm rollouts were amazing... i can't do those. Gives me something to work on though... hehe good deal.

Can you not do them because of flexiblity, or because of strength, or because of knee problems?
You might be using improper form. I cant do them at all, because of my knees.

I'd say because of flexibility + balance! I can do them with door help!

I guess you have to muscle your lower back and your arms to do those ab roll outs?

AB rollouts. The work the ABS. The abs and hip flexors contract to bring your upper body towards your lower body.
He doesn't seem to have any posterior chain work in there.

If you keep falling backwards doing pistols, and can't do them with your foot flat on the floor, try holding a counter weight. Usually something like 4kg is enough, just hold it in your hands extended from your body. This should keep you from falling backwards.

Yeah, I'm doing the thing with the counter weight. I'm starting to think I have flexibility issues too though, or possibly strength, because even then I can't get all the way down... although it could be side/side balance, even if the weight fixes front/back.

I use a rollerskate I found on the street.
Use a dumbell with 1 weight that rolls in the middle.

I've got an old school dumbell with the clamps with 2.5s on either side. The pin on the clamps slides down into the weight and stops it. I'm going to make a pair. with some PVC pipe, hose clamps and Rollerblade wheels.
I paid $5 for my ab wheel. It's fun.

I'm havin a problem doing pistols with my right leg. Whenever i go down, my knee doesn't follow my foot...it goes inward, so I can't do them because it will fuck up my knee and hurt a lot...squattin normaly would be ok...but I can't do that now...so do you guys know if theres any muscular imbalances that're rotating my feet outward/knee inside?
Thanks
