Spotting a wallflip

Theres been a few threads on these and ive become a little curious.
How do you spot someone doing a wallflip? It seems like it would be realy akward to try and get under someone running at a wall and properly flip them over.
What is the proper method to spot someone doing this.

I would like to know this myself...
Just a few days ago when my 'spotter' tried to spot me-
I just ended up falling and hitting my head on the ground- Thus the bruise above my eyebrow. T_T

But yeah, there must be some spotter thread tutorials somewhere.

almost exactly the same as a backflip. Cept this time, wait till the get within 3 feet of the wall than semi follow them as they reach the wall. Remember to flip up and out. You as a spotter want to spin them. So even if they don't get height, they don't land on their heads.

Also, since I'm against spotters. (I don't like people close to me when I trick) I suggest an old mattress and some couch pillows underneath. Immensively better.

One of my mates actually broke his ankle when being spotted on a wall flip, cos he landed wierd.... even tho it was on a mat! lol.
But it's well savage, cos now he's givin up.... so I have no one to trick with.

To spot a wallflip just follow the guys and then help him like you would on a backflip spot, hand on the back and if he really need the second hand behind de legs to flip it over.

Did you guys also see the video of that idiot who broke his ankle being stupid with a front tuck? Don't be stupid and you wont get hurt. Dont fear it, fear how everyone will laugh if you dont try

Im thinking it would be better to just support the back of the person and let them spin arround. Screw flipping the legs.

Also would it be better if the fliper didnt have much of a run at the wall to give the spotter a better chance of helping them be stable throughout the flip.

i have a little experience with spotting for a wallflip. All you really do is stand next to teh wall wait for them to run up it then when they are jumping up onto the wall move in closer, use 1 hand around their lower back to help them get a little more height and with the other hand use it to give them more rotation so put ur hand roughly behing their knee. Stand next to the leg that goes on the wall, because there is no need to help the other leg rotate.
