Ok, I am new to all the flipping kind of. I used to play around on trampelines you know, flipping jumping. back flips fronts whaetevr, you name it. But now I have grwon, got fatter, but still in pretty good shape. Well lately I decided I wanted to learn how to flip. From the ground. I have watched vids on a backflip, wallflip. But I need to start basic. I need to learn how to propperly do a standing front flip. What stretches would help and all, and what technique to use. I have tried it over and over. I have no fear. Im not afraid to flip. I know that I'm gonna bust my ass, I know its gonna hurt, but I still dont care. Yesterday I trie to do one and as usual I flipped right onto my ass. Not sure on how that happened, maybe I'm not getting enough height, or maybe I'm not rotating enough. I jumped and flipped immediately, I dont know exactly when to start flipping, and I dont know how to tuck. I went up, spun and flat on my ass. I bit off part of my tongue but I still got up and tried again and again. I tried it 5 times, same results. I was wondering what would be the proper way to execute this move without busting my ass? :shocked:
