So I've been tricking for about a year. Before I was planning on making a one-year of tricking sampler. But now I just don't feel up to it. I'm going to be doing lots of filming at school for my Trick Club but I just don't know whether I should expend the time, though it's not that much, to make my own one year sampler at the moment. I couldnt make it like later cause then it wouldnt justly be one year.

So what do you guys think? Do it now? Make a regular samp later? Eat some pizza?

Thanx.

well you can make a sampler and not release it too. i know i made my first sampler a long time ago, and ended up just sharing it with some friends. its nice to have tho, later on you can watch all your old videos and reallly see how you've progressed.

if you feel like it, then make it. if not, then don't. tricking is all about what YOU want to do :)

Yeah I have to go with what everyone else said. Don't ask us. If you're going to make a sampler, do it because you really want to, not because of what you think others might like. If you go into this thinking of it as a chore, it's going to be expressed when people see it. Doesn't sound like you're up to it, and if that's truly the case, don't do it.

Yippee thanx guys.

I guess Swartz is right. I'd rather concentrate on video production with me and my friends. Groups are always much more fun.

Nah I say just watch alot of your clips, dont get caught up in trying to edit a sampler. I remember when I tried making my own sampler, it spent so much of my tiem that could have been used for tricking. I knew I didnt have all the footage I wanted to make a really good samp, and yet I still goofed around. That was no good.

I now go with that idea that you should release less samplers, but more powerful. There's nothing wrong with making trailers, but back in the old days it was like you made one or two samps in your whole career haha. It's a bit different now, but if it's like a special event and you wanna film it and put it out. But individual samplers are special and because people are socially lazy, they're gunna base you on what they see in THAT sampler. First impression babble. It's as if they're almost turned down to the idea that you could be better than their tricking hero, so if you want to make a big impact early on you can wait until your skills are flying high and then blow them away or you can do the increment thing where you just post new vids every once in a while and let ppl see your improvement.

make a sampler, because you deserve to have one, and then celebrate with pizza, save some for me.
