Hi im new here, going to keep this short because i typed it in before and my internet died posting and lost what i typed.
Im trying to learn round off back full twist right now but Im having some issues. People were saying i need to learn it on an inground tramp, doing it off onto a mat, then learn rounding off on backfulling off the tramp to the mat. Basically, use a tramp. My issue is I like messing around on the tramp from time to time but I dont really like it for learning moves, I rather learn moves on floor and have crashes on there then on a tramp or half tramp half floor/springs. I thought of just doing a round off to the edge of a foam pit then doing the back full into the pit, slowly adding mats to the height of the edge so i would be doing it level.
Would this work just as good? Are tramps really that necessary for training moves? Any good tips for round off back full twist? Should I just get over my issue with tramps and learn on that or can I go on training most moves without a tramp? Thanks

ya, I can do an almost flawless double full without really jumping at all on a non euro (really high bounce) tramp but its waaaaaay harder on the ground, there are a couple different ways to full, there are a couple wrong ways where you get no height at all and the right way where you spin upside down at chest to head height (higher on pylo)

Some things that you can work on to do it right is to teach yourself that you don't have to spin right away to spin fast. try jumping up into a straight spin with the body jerk as you normally double to initiate the spin, but keep your arms up and open all the way, THEN after you have risen to your peak tuck your arms in for the spin, notice you still spin fast (if not do it again, and this time right, feel free pm me if you have troubles) tucking your arms in right away in a spin just makes you spin, and often establish your centre of gravity, earlier, not faster.

You should practice some layouts then when you go to full just lift your arms up a little to the side, its pretty natural when you go to spin, BUT WAIT. wait until your about upside down the first few times, if you do you'll know your doing it right and you can slowly wait shorter as you progress to doubles (or triples O.o)

If you only want to full, not ever double, or do it high, then its pretty damn easy, you just spin as you flip and it realllly easy.

into a pit is 14 billion times better for learning it than a tramp.

I just threw it on the grass.

Im glad that using the pit is better. And generally learning moves without a tramp is just as good as with a tramp right? Thanks for the help.

Learning moves without a tramp is not only just as good, it's better. (My opinion)
