Feilong kick

Seems like a pretty simple move, although I surprisingly didn't know the name of it until today, and I haven't tried it yet either. I've been having a little difficulty finding any video footage of them.

It's very simple. A 360 landing on the kicking leg. Tornado kick is to 540 as 360 is to hyper 360.

Haha, basically evertime I do a 360 I end up doing a hyper. I actually have to force myself to put the other leg down if I want to land with them at the same time.

Doublejay is correct about prerequisites for this move.

I am pretty sure I can hyper 360, because whenever I do them I land back in a traditional fighting stance with ease. I suppose it's just a matter now of drilling it.

Also, I'm having trouble with the masterswipe, I jump back and throw my other leg up but i end up doing a cartwheel. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

lol, i saw this thread i found the trick interesting, tried it outside and got it pretty much first try, not hard at all

Nice, I tried it, it kind of hurts the wrists, but I was pretty close, I just land on the foot that was in the air which = not good.

I also got the Feilong Kick which I was out there.

Where are all these old Juji exampler coming from?
Masterswipe is a bit harder than it looks. May seem like some weird cartwheel or something bu it's very weird learning. I still can't do it myself. Haven't even tried in like 3 years haha.

These old Juji examplers are from like Ch. 1 and 2 of T/T from back in the day. People just have them hosted around, even though Juji took them down long ago and replaced them with his newer higher quality narrated tutorials.

Yeah, and that's called a Crescent 360 (I think) (not to be confused with 360 crescent). Basically taking a feilong and turning it into a 540 at the end.

Tornado is to 540 as Feilong is to Crescent 360.

Turns out I had been doing Feilongs when trying 540s...I can't get that leg to bend worth a damn.

a hyper feilong is a crescent540. its aaalways off both feet and always has 2 kicks. im a big fan of this move =)

Just habit haha. Kinda like when I learned btwist, everytime I tried to do a bkick I crashed haha. I just slowly drilled both of them until I could do either one on spot. Like I said, I have the same problem with my 360s, I'm trying to work on it. Really though, there's only a few cases where it actually matters for you to land on both legs, such as into a pop 720 or whatever, otherwise, doing hypers is just cooler.

Haha, and I also have a harder time with cheat 720 crescents then plain old 720 crescents. I rotate less with my cheat, and land off balance after the kick.

haha hyper720 is actually easier than landing on both feet for me. wish i could do the double footed stomp thing but it just seems wierd.

IMO being able to differentiate between awkwardly similar moves like that is what makes you an awesome trickster. took me a hell of a long time to actually mentally seperate pop 720s and 900s and theyr completely different legs!
