I watched Dogen's video and I'd like to know how to apply blocking in 2 tricks in particular:
-roundoff (rundo-rondata): do i have to put my legs further from my hands? or nearer?
-butterfly... well here i have no idea how to apply blocking...

roundoff... just watch the tutorial again and pay attention
butterfly (im assuming you mean b-twist) Just STALL then twist.

mmmm... i watched again the video where a guy is doing a backflip after a roundoff... it doesn't seem he's putting his leg really far from his hands... i mean that's the normal distance...
no i mean butterfly 'cause i still can't do butterflytwist...:eh:
just a way to go higher...and higher...and higher

you dont block for the roundoff, you block coming out of the roundoff and into the backflip.
also the concepts of blocking dont realy apply to a btwist and a bkick

but the blocking doesn't consist in putting legs in front of you when you jump?

Blocking is just transfering your momentem from foreward to up. Just think of it this way and it should help. When you go for a trick that involves being completely airborn, as you run up, try to land the trick 6 inches in front of where you took off from.
If you don't understand, here's another perspective. You are in a building hallway that has a tile floor. When you take off, try not to travel further than one tile.
So just keep that in mind and you should start doing it naturally.
As for that roundoff, don't block into it, block out of it if you plan to link a trick from it.

not as such no, but i think dogen tried to link it in with it by using stalling :good:

Alpha7158 is right, you block coming OUT of a roundoff.
Depending on how you setup for butterflys, it can be a big help in a btwist/bkick, if you can get the momentum flow right. Just stretch out your leg in the reverse setup and reach far ahead of you with it (the one that drives the jump, not the lifting one). This is assuming you don't hop too much into your takeoff or any of the 500 other odd things people do in their btwist setups.
Edit: stalling(setting) and blocking are two different things.
ok roundoffss
as you do it, the first leg that reaches put, make sure it god damn reaches out, then put your hands down at a 90 degree angle, then kick up with the other foot, and when your in the handstand position, push off to finish off the roundoff

tx everybody for the answers... this evening i'm gonna increase my roundoff and maybe i'lld do my first bflip...
i've got another question about the roundoff... i do 2 types of roundoff: the first is the classic, just put your hands down and maybe flik... the second is different for a little thing... i put my hands down a second later and i push hard the ground with the hands...like to push a button...in this one the momentum increase incredibly and throw me really higher than the first one... so is this the roundoff needed for the backflip?

Well, anyony did a good r/o tut, which you can read at the "all star guides and write ups" topic at the tutorial forum.
And about the b kick- you CAN block- while doing the step through- throw that leg BACKWARDS. It helps.
