BALLS.
you wont really have any seeing as how you're 12.
just work on straightening out that 2nd leg.

dleg is an easy move to "progress" into, unlike a lot of other moves. juji highlights a few methods in his tutorial on the main site. work on it slowly and you'll be stomping some awesome ones in no time. dlegs can get awesome pretty quick =)

juji answerd in your thread , u can do anything now..
but i was also working on my dblegs yesterday, and finally got something
that looks like it  what really helped for me was too just copy the takeoff EXACTLY from the tutorial, sounds kinda dumb but i landed it this way.
i used to have a punch takeoff which doesnt really work..
anyways good luck with the move !
Heres mine: not completely straight yet, but that will come :juji:

Well, depending on how good you are at concentration, you may be able to trick your mind into thinking you are doing it on a mat until you dont need to any more. If you can't pull that off, all i can say is grab onto your go-nads and just do it...... or find a sand pit somewhere and pull them into it until you are comfortable. Have fun.:pirate:

Man doubleleg is the one and only basic trick that totally doesn't work for me. I keep learning new techniques for it but can't get it work when I try them. I practice it enough it just isn't working. I HATE IT! And I love it because it's cool. BUT DAMN IT.

The fact that you can do one AT ALL is immensely different than someone like me who can't even do one. It's not even just not being able to land, the whole look and form when I do it is completely off.

ah trust me, it can be frustrating. it taunts me i tell you! haha
it's a move which just requires some thought. do a really hard 360 with your hips nice and high and im sure you'll get the hang of it :good: mine contraversially started out as single legs (which i can do every time cos theyr silly easy) but its very easy to get the hang of dlegs at least from there.

ah i remember when i just started dlegs... actually i can't i somehow landed on my head and lost all memory of anything that happened that day... o well, i have em now... sort off its on and off, but if you work at any trick long enough you can get it in no time

I got double legs by trying sideflips for some odd reason. Ah well, I'm happy haha :good:
i got them recently, but i land in a really off balance way, i think i need to work on getting more upright just before i land, any tips on doing that ?

try and fix the angle which you're legs come over. they should be directly in front of you rotating around your hips. once your doing that it's simply a matter of adding more power =)

The part about 360 I have tried. It's such a general statement but it isn't working for me. I mean of all tips, I'm not asking for more. I was just stating my frustrations with the move because I've tried most every technique I know of. Enough of that though, maybe if I drill it crashing enough times I can figure something more out. It's such a retarded move.

This trick is really confusing. I can do it on the tramp (well that doesn't say anything does it?), and I get the motion when trying it over mats. But when I try it on the ground it looks HORRIBLE, in fact I don't have a clue what I'm doing. One time I landed straight on my back because my mind just tells my that I don't know the motion of a dleg, while I DO know the whole motion of a dleg!

I have tis problem too.... But not exactly.... I mean that i do something like a very ugly d-leg but I can't jump with my legs together.... i jump always like a 360....

I know what I'm going to try. I thought of this last night and it actually helped with similar moves. Doing a 360 into a doubleleg, as in the combo. I had lost my pop 720 but when I did a 360 into it, it came back more or less, just wasn't nearly as good as it used to be. Still, that gets you into the feeling of the body positioning, so maybe it'd work for doubleleg, even if I do crash horrendously, the body position might start to be there. I'll have to give it a try sometime.
try doing the double leg with support, roll over someones back in the same shape and then jump up more into it.

That's the technique I've tried the most learning this. It may help some people but it fucks me over mentally when I have to worry about flying over something. I certainly don't picture that when I do a 360, I won't when trying to seriously learn a doubleleg.

I can't help myself from crunching, er.. putting mu head between my legs when i try d-leg... I totally hate the move, but i want it so bad..

if you try and learn the dleg by rolling over something, then you aint gonna learn jack. You're just gonna learn to roll over something.
and people are amazed when they realise "hey i can do it over stuff... why can i just do it on its own??"
dlegs are alot easier than you think if you just follow the technique, thats all it is.
