:S

It's not THAT horrid, man. I mean, give yourself credit; not many people would be willing to do that. ^_~

The only thing you have to work on is height. Develop height and you can pull this move off beautifully. :D If it has to be training with crouch jumps (staying in a crouch, jumping up, and then kicking your legs out), then that could work.

Good thing to note: in a backflip (and flashkick too, yes) you are primarily going straight UP. If you go BACK, you LOSE height. ^_~ Keep that in thought.

Otherwise, looks good thus far! ^_^ Just keep drilling, man.

You're kicking far too early. People need to understand when their learning this move is that you should delay the kick to ensure the landing, and then the kick will come out earlier in time. Kick a little bit later, really work on reaching for the ground with that kicking leg.

This is the way I think about it. I like to go up, and then I like to think "Forward X-Out", and I think about snapping the legs out, my kicking leg in front, and then my non kicking leg stays to the outside, and I reach for the ground. Chamber the kick, and then snap it out and reach for the ground!
