Ok, first off, a standing front tuck is one hell of a lot harder to do then one with a run up. What you want to do is get in your back yard/garden, and get plenty of space to run up to. Once you build up a comfortable speed, do a little hop step, put your feet a little ways in front of you, bring your arms down, then throw them up in the air as you jump. Stall out to get a good center of gravity, then whip your knees up to your chest and grab them. Just remember to jump up and not out.

if you learnt to do them them standing wouldn't you get quite high easily with a run up ??

k doing them on a couch is gonna make you jump forward so take the cushions outside and do them out there

your advice is good, but i don't agree with the knees to chest motion.
this has been posted many times, and i know it's getting repeatative (how the fuck do you spell that?), anyway:
Knees to chest for backflip
Chest to knees for frontflip

You don't want to create momentum backwards do you?

Ok, this is where it gets technical, yes you do pull your knees to your chest, because its going to aid you in height. With a back tuck you rip them to your chest from right under you. With a front flip, the block you do in takeoff not only gives you the extra momentum but it also positions your feet in a way that when you pull your legs to your chest you arn't just pulling them up to give you a backwards momentum, you are pulling them into you, pushing your hips backwards and aiding in rotation.

I thought about it the way you do for a while, but that way all of my fronts were low due to leaning into it too much once I took off.

Now don't get me wrong, you definatly have to throw your upper body too, but don't throw your chest at your knees, because then you are throwing your whole momentum back towards the ground.

It seems to work best to bring your knees about 3/4 of the way into your tuck and use your upper body to lean the rest of the way into the full tuck along with throwing your arms out and down.

Whatever works I guess, but give it a try and see what you can get from it.

I can't see much, but I think you should hold your tuck longer.

film them from further away so we can see all of you, easier to see what's wrong/needs corrections that way.

WEll alot of them didnt have the take off but the one that was right in the middle, i'll take as the average of your worst and best.

First off, you dont block enough. I looked exactly like you did until I watched dogen blocking video, maybe get a bit more momentum from your run up and throw your legs out in front of you. Also remember as you take off to stall and raise your center of gravity before you start the actual tuck. If you watch your video you will see soon as you feet leave the ground you dip your head so you get no height and point down.

Learning to jump at the peak of yoru jump takes repitition and practice to actually learn what it feels like, but try to stall long enough to get about a foot in the air before you begin the rotate that should put your center of gravity around shoulder height and leave plenty of room to bring your feet down.

I hope some of that made sense

They are easy to pull off, but hard to pull off well if you know what I mean. Many people can do them on their first or second tries, landing crouched, but in order to really fall out of them standing there is a lot of technique that you need to discover on your own.

I personally landed my second attempt, full crouch with one hand hitting the ground. After about 2 weeks of trial and error I found what worked best for me.

So just go outside, and give it hell. Just make sure your ankles are up to it, because five or so low landings in a row and you will be feeling it.

You need to jump up higher, and then tuck. You seem to just jump up slightly and tuck right away. I'm not a frontflip expert but those are two things I noticed.

What is the name of the camera you use?

I find frontflips insanely hard. I started working on them more than a year ago, then it took me a couple of months to land them crouched, now I'm still trying to land them standing but I just can't land them standing, no matter how much effort I put in them.

Yea, basically jump UUUPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!! It nearly looks like you are diving to the ground. I have a methord that stops me from doing this. Find a string or something and then dive roll over it. You will need to jump UP then land on your hands and roll. Then raise the string more and more. I can do this up to my own head, this is when I know that I'm blocking properly. Then lower the belt and then do the same jump over it and flip. I managed it first time for the first time outside. Good luck
