when i try to do a backflip which i have tried hundreds of times I notice that i can't seem to get my knees to bend when i stall and tuck (they always end up being straight out) which is preventing me from rotating.
Does anyone have any tips because i cant seem to get it?

Rip them up and grab and hold onto them for dear life.

when at the peak of your jump, just bring your knees to your chest. Just keep it in mind, the tuck is the most important part of the trick

Just imagine that you are jumping over a wall about hip high without the use of your hands. When you jump, you jump up and get those legs to clear the wall. Then just grab those knees when they are up there.
I think you are just focusing too much on forcing yourself over to your feet out of fear. Think about the technique extensively before going for the attempt, and drill it into your head. Then just do it. (but try not to think of it when you are doing it, as you might wipe out due to it.)
Just keep working at it, you know what you need to do.
Just jump up and tuck without trying to spin.
