I noticed in another thread that alot of people seem to be having trouble with the double-leg. I figured I'd just make a new thread instead of going off-topic in another one. So here's a few tips on how I immensely improved my d-leg to resemble that of juji's. Btw, having a pit to practice into is essential, not to learning the double-leg, but to apply what I'll say. This may not work for you, but I improved SO much the first time I tryed this stuff.
1. Shoulders. Juji said it in his tut. Don't just torque with your back. If you sit in a chair facing forward and try to grab the outer edges of the backrest (left hand going behind to grab the right side edge), you should be getting something resembling the torque.
2. Jump. Jump like a mf. Ofcourse you can easily land this move without having to jump much, but having loads of air while doing it makes it oh so much funner.
3. Eyes. You spin where you look, right? Well, I noticed that eye position is a very helpful thing in this move. Ok, let's assume that you've just done the step through and are about to go into the move, with your right side towards your direction of movement.
You want to look up/behind yourself at about a 60degree angle on this move and KEEP LOOKING THERE until your legs have cleared atleast half of the move.
So, combining all of this stuff in a mini tut
1- Jog up, do the step through however you want.
2- From the slight crouch, turn your head to face behind you and up, while torquing your back and twisting your shoulders.
3- Keep your eyes on the target while pulling your feet up and around. I infact don't even pull them, it just happens.
4- Take your eyes off your target when your legs have cleared about two thirds of the move and soon you should just be dropping down onto your feet and sticking the landing.
Btw, about the eye position, just make sure you don't look right behind yourself. You want to be looking SLIGHTLY more than behind yourself, and remember to focus up at about a 60degree angle.
Any corrections, opinions, question, w/e, just post. This may not work for all, and is just one way to execute the move, so don't blame me. Worked very well for me though.
