I know there are a million backtuck/backflip help tips, but today, i got some guts and attempted it. and made it to my hands and knees, then tried again and landed only on the knees, then tried it again and landed on my hands and knees again.

the problem is that after a few hours, i... forgot? or something, but the fear came back and i could sure use some tips to get over it.

ive seriously tried to attempt it and almost made it, but just after the few hours, i lost it. so yay for me, but even worse boo, because after ive almost made it, i cant even start it

ok first make sure you crouch down while keeping your head forwards
now spring up and throw your whole body upwards, remembering to throw your arms up
now if i were you, then tuck infront, it helps soo much because you are able to tuck that little bit tighter which makes the difference from your knees to your feet

lol this is funny cause this happened to me bout a week ago (nearly got backtuck now) but newayz this is wat i did. First i did it on a mat so it would be less scary then i just fell on my back a few times just to get adrenaline pumping and it started to get rid of the fear more and more. Eventually i got back to where i was just takes some time and dont forget have fun with it and always look straight ahead

seriously, the only way to get over fear it to try it again with a spotter or some precaution and then do it by youself, or if you are a big man (which I'm not so sure cause you made a fear thread) just make yourself do it. the only thing that take away fear is do the move. Once you've don't it, then do it lots until its not scary, then do it everyday until the first one of the day isn't scary. Thats how I got my standing (actually standing, not step) full, and I assure you that is at least 5 times scarier than a backflip, not to meantion about 10 times harder.

i had that problem because i lost them, i forced myself to do them and landed them again and viola fear gone

i did it by myself. the thing is that after a while, of not doing it for like 2 hours, i forgot how it went! not the actual technique but how i go about doing the technique. i really jambled my brain when i did it and got too excited! natural... but now i cant do it again!

also i rested up, so ill maybe reattempt today if my leg feel better.

whats a standing full?

and omg lets have a race to do t3h backflipz. my head/neck/back are still fucked from bad landings so im certainly not trying today. I might try to recuit a spotter from the (shit) wushu club they have here. I dont think they do flips though

lol.. when i was getting backflips i would do a million of em at school by myself land perfectly... get home and just not even b able to attempt... go back to school do em come home couldnt... after a week i just did it at home... so just b patient keep drilling em whenever u can

yea man my knee is max fux0red+10, i should stop doing shit with it for a few days
