i know its been said, but theres also been a lot of discouragement in this thread.

if you read every sticky, all the way through (lol... copyrights) and write down every single exercise in their appropriate categories you can virtually just walk into the gym and make shit up. so long as youre mindful of your technique and avoid overtraining (this is where your personal trainer can come in, considering she is free and all), you'll get stronger. so long as you eat enough, you'll gain more muscle mass.

plus, you might want to print out chicanerous' article and bring in your laptop. share a sampler with your personal trainer and hand her the article. you might get two reactions. one, she'll admit shes not a sports specialized trainer and refer you to someone else if youre serious. two, she might begin to take _you_ seriously when she realizes your goals are serious. ya never know.

Off-topic, but I went for my pre-enlistment medical check-up a few months ago and according to the army, I'm at 8% body fat. I'm finding it hard to believe, haha.

thanks for the advice!

in regards to the fat issue... my electronic scales say i'm on average between 9-10% body fat and during the summer as low as 7-8. however I do no have visible abdominals or anything just a round podge just bellow my belly button ( at my current percentage).

though after taking a look at my dietary intake i have about 1400 to 1700 calories in my diet which probably means i'm malnourished and that causes this stupid pot belly like some anorexic teenager.

Your scale is wrong because bioelectric impedance is really worthless.
