I like the acronyms we have for our gatherings they make them seem official. haha

Gatherings are usually open invitational. Usually the only ones that are invitational are then ones that people just want to trick with their close friends from all over.

what do you consider a gathering to be? more then 10 people? longer then 3 days? having to travel? does a mini gathering count? etc.

i count getting a plane (any distance) or train/car (for more than 5 hours) as a gathering. For me, a gathering is making a lot of effort to trick with other people. Some people do this weekly.
