"Pounce" is a little better but seems too weak to me. I usually say bounce or rebound. A hard fast bounce is the best way to think of it in my opinion.
Thanks.. I appreciate it.. the punch motion, I seem on some of these kids at the facility is the stomp.. they never go up.. rather I agree "pounce" aggressively...

So it the run to the pounce movement (I know it is fluid).. it is not a hurdle right .. (I've done hurdles) rather a take off from your lagging leg.. bringing your your feet together mid-air and then "extending" your legs to punch...

I think the punch motion is a big problem for me.. I think of it as stomping

I appreciate your help...

Sounds like you've got the right idea in your head.

Watch the girls in this video who run into their double front. It's only a handful of them but most of their punches are fantastic. (And notice only a couple of them do the hand circle thing. Most start with the hands simply up.)

Wow.. that really helped.. the punch looks like a running lunge, bringing both your legs to together mid-air, and then extending them aggressively... kicking.. kinda.. thanks alot the video helped..

This video helped also

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bsg1Xak07jI

blocking/punching has been the huge problem for me.. both the videos helped me...

Again, it is as I see and now practice it... a run, lunge & jump step (in which you bring your feet close together.. as I see you must get decent height, but also it needs to be a long lunge step...), then quick extension your feet .. punch...

thanks.. this was the ISSUE really troubling me on this move... the tuck isn't tough.. it is the PUNCH!

Thanks.. I'm going to practice more,
