Default our favorite, Hip Popping!

my left hip pops when i bring my legs back in after doing a hip stretch. why does it do this? how do i make it go away? what do i do to avoid it happening to my right leg?

Same leg, same problem. It may begin to hurt. Mine went from annoying to badd, to me not even realizing/not paying attention to it. Hopefully it stays that way.

Popping like this can come from overuse. If you rest and lightly stretch it, the popping may gradually decrease. I'm doing this for a similar problem at the moment and its working pretty well for me (annoying that I'm not tricking though).

One more thing: if you're the bendy type, the popping might be caused by your having too much flexibility for your joint's strength. In this case, strengthening the relevant areas can fix it. You should be able to tell whether the cause is overuse or over flexibility.

Apparently this sort of thing is usually harmless (if there's no pain with the popping) and it can even spontaneously go away.

try hip rotations before kicking.
This should decrese the pain at least.
