Thumbs up whey instructions

My packet tells me to add 40g to 300ml of milk twice a day.

does this mean i have to take two lots of 300 of this every day or take the 300 in two 150 dosages. Could someone explain this?

There are 100000 different ways of taking whey depending upon your workout and what you are trying to achieve.

how often are you training?
what are you trying to achieve?
if you just take x whey x ammount of times randomly then you could see no gains or get fat.

150 in the morning and 150 in the evening. I am going for slight gain in muscle mass but mainly improved jump power.

Training once a day lightly and 4 times a week heavily.

Besides the obvious already mentioned, your instructions are bullshit if they're only suggesting milk and not something more along the lines or milk, whey, or whatever else.

Also, don't take it with milk, at least not mostly. Water works just fine, it's more readily available, etc. If you're a wuss about taste (and it's not bad with water for that matter unless your whey tastes really shitty for some reason) then you just plain suck.

What brand of whey is this? Also, you're probably wasting your time taking it if the level of knowledge you're expressing in this thread is anything to go by.
