I don't get the Splenda one. Do they just mix sucralose with maltodextrin as filler or something, and if so, why?

isnt splenda just some modified sugar molecule or somesuch? taste is just based on shape, so... *shrug* hell, im no chemist. haha.

I think that one of the carbons in sugar is replaced with a chlorine to make splenda...but I'm not really sure
