Default overstretching?

Hey guys, Ive FINALY got some results with stretching, im really close to the splits.

So, my routine has been stretch for 30 seconds, 1 min res. Rinse, repeat 3x.

Is there a problem if I did this say, 6 or 7 times or greater in a row?

Ty

No problem really.

Your knees may get annoyed with you though.

I'd ask for more specifics, but I'm tired.

I don't see it a problem doing as u suggested 7 reps for 30 seconds each. Just jump about and warm up a bit before you should be fine, you should always stretch a bit warmed up. How much pain you feeling doing them?

Pain? What pain? lol

When I'm stretching, it's more of an uncomfort, it can't really be described as pain. Even when I push for the stretch, it doesn't really hurt. Each time I go down, I keep getting more and more distance. I wanna keep just doing the stretch until I'm all the way down, but don't want to over do it.

Thanks!

I don't have any huge field experience with stretching but I'll say that patience is a virtue. You would rather want to let it take an extra week or however long it will take instead of tearing something.

The problem only arises when you stretch too violently. Sure you can slay wild animals and burn your house down when you train splits, just dont go down into the splits too fast, or push too hard.

As long as your warm, you're not bouncing in your stretch and you're not particularly sore before attempting to stretch again =D and its fine.
