at night your body temperature lowers down.
and in the morning your spine is longer than in the evening ( because of the discs ).

I've been waking up with constant DOMS for the past two weeks now so I know what you mean. But otherwise, what Dobi said fits the picture. You actually grow abit when you sleep and then compress yourself the same length after getting up.

having DOMS may be fun for a while, but then you realise it is making you vastly weaker and less flexible. Take nutritional steps to speed your recovery, and try contrast showers, too. Reducing DOMS is very worthy.

2 questions:
What is DOMS?
and i shower every night right before i go to sleep, does that have anything to do with the stiffness?

the problem could be you are training often and not eating well enough for you body to recover properly. Or you arent warming down and stretching after exercise.

most guys wake up stiff..... sorry ino, bad joke. But anyway, that happened to me a lot before, all you have to do is warm down after your tricking session. Thats what worked for me anyway :)
