Default canned tuna

is canned tuna any good...??
cause from what i know its basically all the tuna shit (skin, bones, head, body flesh and all) crammed all together and processed and then put in a few preserving chemicals and then it gets real old, but still nowhere near the expiry date.. Doesnt that make it unhealthy??

Cause i read in a few of juji's articles that canned tuna is a good part of a diet.

PS>>>> same principle and same question applied to canned fruit!!!!

It's just tuna (real meat) in a tin, with oil/water.brine etc...

Yes it is good.

Canned fruit is also good. If you can, buy it 'in its own juice' or in 'light syrup'. Avoid 'in heavy syrup'- fruit doesn't need extra sugar!

If you are looking for another longterm/convenient way to get your fruits, consider frozen fruits.

Haha, this site claims it is the most comprehensive source of 'canned tuna' information on the Internet. Enjoy!

I eat lots of canned meat. Canned beef, salmon, turkey, chicken, tuna... My meat consumption has almost soley been based on canned meats since Summer haha... Hasn't been a problem though, I've never been this strong or lean. Eat up! Just maybe rinse and opt for canned meats with less preservatives. Nothing better than looking at the ingredients and reading a simple list,

INGREDIENTS: BEEF, WATER, SALT.

But you also haven't been hitting the roids until now, eh wot! Although actually there's no point to me mentioning this, since I eat almost randomly and can press over 1.5 times my body weight, haha.

I used to eat a lot of tinned corned beef, now the idea sickens me a bit. I still eat a few cans of tuna on occasion.

You americans put everything in tins. The only meat I have ever seen in a tin is tuna (and some other fish), and spam.

I don't trust spam.

Tins are too bothersome to open.
