No, your knees are bend in side splits. Try to straighten them out and your front split need alots work to do. Very good for your age! Keep up the good work. :)

that was quite funny actually.

Anyways, Kurtz's book discusses methods allowing you to kick cold with near maximal flexibility. However he also points out in his book that you should not do this a lot and this does not mean you should skip warming up, because for any extended period of exercise, you should. <- If you guys were wondering.

His method basically gets your nervous system used to exhibiting max flexibility at any time (cold) and puts of a lot of stress on regularly performing dynamic stretching =D

I can still do pretty much vertical sidekicks cold. When I'm warmed up, it's not that much better.

From my experience, you just have to do some "cold training" once in a while. It's probably not recommended though, hahah:P

how do you achieve that kind of flexibility? i cann't kick cold for shit:S my side kick doesn't go higher than my head if i throw one cold. i can slightly over (side) split. and can throw a vertical side kick if i'm warmed up, although i can't 'hold' the kick.
