well im wondering because mine are with my right leg forward, (my uper body facing my right leg) so im gonna say thats the right side, but i think genraly most peoples is their left, im wondering if theres any think that determines witch side.
i cartwheel and aerial my right side though i can do it on the other side now but its no where near the same standard (in wushu the right side is the wrong side as most people do it on their left) but one of my friends cartwheels on his right side to but spilts better on his left, so im wondering witch side u split on better and more comferterble and if there is actullay anything that affects witch side? |

I don't know! BUT! Everyone should learn to do everything in life from kicks, flips, carthwheels, etc and the splits on both sides. Or you risk becoming a one trick pony. :p
I doubt in wushu it is wrong to do things on the right side. |

There shouldn't be a lateral difference in your flexiblity, like there shouldn't be a lateral difference in your strength. Any difference someone has comes from not training both sides equally or some sort of physical problem.

Ah, I see. Well, it's cool. Funny thing is, I can't even do the splits at all, so I don't even know what I'm doing here, hahah [maybe to learn something...], but I would have to say trying front splits with my right leg forward seems easier... yet my hip flexibilty on my left side is somewhat better, its wierd
