stretching in the morning is it any good??

or what is the best time to do stretches and when it most affective?

It's best after you're done exercising for the day, so it won't affect performance, you'll be warmed up, and then you can go to sleep to heal any potential injuries you incurred during the stretch, as well as stretching being relaxing to some people and helping them sleep.
