Default Flexibility and ankle question

Flexibility- I've heard its impossible to do side splits for some people since something might be in the way or something. Whenever i do a butterfly stretch or something similar, focusing on my right leg, it feels like the inside of my hip wants to crack so bad, but im scared to just crack it. It feels like if i just cracked it it would be ok, but i don't wanna completely fuck my leg, so i wont try it. So, what's a test to see it i am able to do side splits, and should i just crack it?

Ankle- My left ankle hurts, and it feels like i might've injured it, but there isnt ANY swelling anywhere. What could it be? A minor sprain?

Ankle question: We can't answer it, only your doctor or your mother can (best bet on the former.)

Stretch: Juji did provide a nice little test on the flexibility section where he does some kind of half-splits on a chair. Perhaps that would work? Don't know if he was serious with those though. If your hip feels really bad I suggest consulting your doctor at the same time as you check your ankle and get yourself examined. If he can't help you he'll most likely direct you to someone who can.

Like Rahf said, you'll have to see a doctor to be certain. However, can you think of how you might have injured your ankle? Can you describe the pain at all?
