Hey guys
I can do a fronsplit without pain , but if I train the side splits I got fucking pain in my Hips. Is there a way to avoid it? I looked at the Flexy test and I could do the test without pain. But allways if I reach this point I have pain. http://www.bilder-speicher.de/070315....vollbild.html Help |

Do you have proper form when you do it as well? Are you checking in a mirror or filming yourself as you do the split?

tilt your pelvis forward or rotate your legs backward ( toes point up ), to get the bones out of the way

Side split training for me is piece of cake compared to front splits where I get burning in my hamstrings.
Last night I reached a new level, butt 3 inches from the floor, but my patella popped violently as my legs reached a new angle... was disturbing... Do squats with your legs further apart and dip down. Maybe try isometric stretching if you haven't already? |

if your working out alot that means your building more muscle that needs to be stretched.. if you reach the floor one day, then work out a couple days, then stretch you may find it harder to do because new muslce that youve built up needs to be stretched. :]

Don't force the splits if they hurt your hip bone, many people have a limited range of hip motion due to the bones; e.g. I can't do any high sidelifts on my left side due to hip pain, the right side presents no problem though.

This is completely wrong. Do research before posting.
