Default Injured Foot

Okay, today my friends and I were playing catch and messing around with fireworks, and I wasn't paying attention for a second and my friend hit me dead on top of my left foot at about 70 mph. Now it hurts a little when I walk and hurts really bad when I rest it on the ground on the outside part. It feels like the pain is coming from just below the ankel.

Any idea what might be wrong, and what I could do for it? I haven't iced it or had a full nights sleep since it happened about an hour ago, so I don't know if it'll be fine by tomorrow. Any help is appreciated.

You may have broken something or just bruised it badly. Wait a day or two and if it is still bad, I would see a doc. In the mean time, Ice it to help with the swelling (I imagin it will have started to swell by now)

I don't think it is broken then, but I am not a doctor.

RICE. rest, ice, compression, elevation
Don't over ice it, maybe 10 minutes max. Repeat every hour or so. Or go to bed and see how it looks tomorrow. Might be worth wearing some tight socks or a bandage while you sleep aswell.

Id say that you just smacked it up. In the summer i smashed my foot into a wall just about as hard as i could (not on purpose) and it hurt for almost a week and i couldnt go waterskiing the whole time.

Just give it a few days. should feel just fine in a little while.

Isn't it weird how people always go to the TT forum to ask for medical advice?

Yes, but we are much cheaper than specialists or Doctors.
