Default Shadowfighting for cardio

I think it's less boring compared to running.

But is there anything about it that makes it not as good as running?

less intense

It's not really intense punching air, is it? Try sparring with someone instead, and try to kill him. Then you will get a good workout.

Use a bag instead of the air.

Yeah shadowfighting was suggested to me a while ago-
after this guy tried to beat me up.
I started doing it in my spare time- but I became lazy.

Instead I strengthened my punches by punching at brick for a while. ^_^

Bagwork is better than shadowboxing. Punching bricks is not a good idea.

Lmao dont worry.
Its nothing like punching bricks until my knuckels begin to bleed.
Just the last time I tried to punch this guy in the face,
I practically shattered my whole hand. T_T

In kung-fu or karate they never really taught us how to be tough..

So now if that asshole ever tries to come near me again,
I can punch his lights out without injuring myself in the process! ^_^

Haha.
Yeah..There was a incident once where this retarded asshole was
being abusive to my best-friend while they were dating.
Long story...
But when she tried to break up with him- he beat her up.
I got really pissed so i told my dad and he took care of it with the cops.

Then he would come by my house and stalk me.
One day I was with two of my girlfriends and he tried to attack me.
I didn't get hurt by him- and i actually left him with a couple of bruises,
but still. I got hurt from MYSELF!
Hence the reason why I'm trying to be tougher lmao.
