Hey man. Nice tries. Remember, jump UP. UP UP UP UP UP. Don't tilt your head back, that will take away from your vertical height. Jump up, lock your eyes on a target slightly above head level, then when you are at your peak of your jump, tuck.

You could have this easy if:
A) Arms go all the way up beside your ears when you throw them; B) Throw your knees to your CHEST when you tuck, throw them hard (helps to rotate you, I find); C) When you jump, don't look back (much, maybe a couple degrees), look up. Throw your head up, you are throwing it back like a back handspring; D) Jump up, but you knew that already. Not trying to be overly critical, like I said, I'm pretty sure you can nail this one. The easiest way, in my experience, to get past a mental block is to concentrate on only the block at a time, and nothing else. Accidents can happen when I do this, so having a spot is always a bonus. **EDIT** Good luck, mhm. |
