Ok i went tricking yesterday and ther is this 15 year-old kid there..
About 3 weeks ago he couldnt make a standing backflip due to lack of height. Yesterday i see him and he's flying into the air almost standing layouts! He tried standard forward gainers, j-turn gainer flashes and front flips... hes soaring into the air. now.. i asked him what he did to get so floaty and so much height. He said something about deadlift.. now i have no idea what they are.. i googled it and it gave me some arm weightlifting stuff. He was going on about attaching weight to his ankles then doing something.. the music was up too loud to hear anything so i noded away lol. This obviously has had some effect on him so i wana try what hes doing.. hopefully with what ive explained what i heard, somebody will be able to tell me what excersise hes doing. Thanks. |

Well, deadlifts have nothing to do with ankleweights... So... fuck knows? Deadlifts are a very good excersize though. Works more than just your arms, its one of those whole body thangs.

Heh, everyone wants the month miracle. There are a few things you can do that will increase your vert significantly, but not all of them are about muscles.
Its really hard to think about more than one thing at a time when you are hucking a trick, so I would suggest just thinking about one at a time. When one comes naturally, add another. Solid technique on its own will give you another half a foot in a month, easy. Hell, maybe even a leg. |
