Yeah I was training to learn back flips and i think I either strained my lower right back. The thing is I dont know if I jarred it, pulled it, or screwed it up the day before on squats. I was doing low weight so I'm not sure if its that. Do you have any suggestions on making it go away so I can get back to training?

No, do not go to a chiropractor. They will base your injury on a 'curvature' in your spine. I do not recommend going to see them.
How long has it been hurting? If you tried backflips a day or two ago you might just be sore from the new movement. The ideal thing to do is go see a doctor/physical therapist if you think it is that serious. I wouldnt recommend training again until you get ok'ed by either one, or it starts to feel better. |

well its been hurting since saturday. Not bad, though. I worked out today doing squats and it only hurt afterwards. I can't bend too far towards my toes

no it started after a few days of backflip training. Didn't feel it until the day it rained and couldn't go outside. It was hurting before squats just worse after

If the pain is there when youre not stressing the muscle, id say go to a doctor, or find a physical therapy place that does require a doctor referral. You can try to take some White Willow Bark, which you could find at a supplement store. It supposedly helps pain. I still take it for my back.
Dont take a back injury lightly. I was out for 3-4 months, and I know some other people who were out for even longer. |
